As a mom I confess that it is so easy to shop clothes or anything for girls especially little girls. It’s a no sweat task for me. The picking and choosing is no problem, it’s just the time at times is not very favorable. There seem to be so many choices for girls. From their clothes to their hair clips, to their headbands, then down to their socks, shoes, sandals and even more. You just need to have lots of money to buy more than what’s needed for the princess of the house.
While we shop for our daughter /s, and even our hubby, there is one thing we totally forgot. Can you guess what is it? It’s that we forget to shop for ourselves. Right? We are so preoccupied of the things that will make our darling girls look so pretty, and we forgot that we too moms have to maintain our prettiness.
So next time you got out to grab things for your little girls, grab some for you, too!
While Sarah is sleeping, I have time to do my online activities. Talking about online activitites such as updating my blogs, visiting my virtual friends on Facebook, or talking with my family back home. And if I still have time, I tried to search for baby clothes again. Sarah has lots of baby clothes but I couldn't help myself not to shop for her clothes, accessories and even toys. I wouldn't mind if I don’t shop for myself. I just love to see cute baby stuffs for her and if only Sarah has long hair, I so love those hair accessories which I have found online. Anyway, cute hair clips will do on her hair, but I am scared if she pulls it and plays with it. I know it is not safe for Sarah to play hair clips.
I also found cute stuff toys at the store nearby and I wanted to buy it if money is available. DH always remind me not to shop too many clothes for Sarah because she couldn't wear it for the long time because babies grow so fast, and I agree with him. Even so, honestly, I still shop Sarah’s clothes, and I sometimes hide it. Ha! A few days later, hubby will know it but he can do nothing but to smile when he sees that her daughter is so lovely with her new dress. :-)
Sometimes shopping for a new baby can be more difficult than shopping for an adult. A baby gift should not only be appropriate to the baby’s age and stage but should also aim to please the child’s parents. Luckily there are many baby gifts that are fun and educational for a baby as well as meaningful and thoughtful to the parents. Older style toys are coming back into gift giving fashion-especially toys made of wood. Between their natural texture, beautiful colors as well as great durability, you can give a child the same type of gift that you and your parents have plaid with as children. Wooden building blocks or jigsaw puzzles are sure to please. If you would like your gift to be something that a child takes with them from babyhood to adulthood consider gifts that a child can grow older with such as engraved mugs, memory or money boxes. Such gifts can be further made extra special through personalization with their name, and are the type of a gift that a child can use for many years to come. If this new addition comes into a household which already has one child, many families attempt to give a gift to the older sibling so that they feel included in their new expended family. A big brother or a big sister gift can make a child feel extra special. As a baby grows older and starts to develop its young mind, gift should aim to stimulate thinking and motor functions, some great ideas are a push mower, buggies and fun magnetic toys which will have a child moving and thinking in no time. With so many great baby gift ideas for any budget and age and stage of a child’s life, gift giving does not have to be a chore.
The Internet has changed the way most people shop. The many advantages of
online shopping have made it more popular choice among active Internet users. There are virtually hundreds of online shops that offer just about everything we need. But even if most people choose to shop online, they are still mindful of the prices of the items that they buy from online stores.
Practical consumers look for the best deals online. They look for online shopping websites that offer authentic merchandise at the lowest price possible. At
nomorerack, shoppers can find the best deals on just about everything they need including clothes and accessories, shoes, bags, electronic gadgets, toys, books, home accessories and a variety of other merchandise. I even got the Celine French Style handbag for myself. Mommy need not be lacked of what she like/want because she already has a baby to care for! Smile for that. :-) To add, everyday this site posts deals on different items (it's addicting of waiting the time it open, you know). They have what they call the Insanity Deals where items are offered with as much as 95% discount. Shoppers can visit the site everyday if they want to be able to snag some amazing deals for themselves. And take note if you are a savvy shopper like me, you've got to get going. Happy shopping journey then! :-)
There are couple of reasons why one like to start online shopping as soon as the New Year celebration frenzy died down, including: (1) buying new stuffs for the little one, (2) buying new stuff for the house to welcome the New Year and (3) some cash to spare to fund this worthwhile activity.
Buying online can be quite a risky venture if you do not know the ins and outs of how this alternative way of shopping goes about. For starters, I am doing a bit of reading on
nomorerack reviews online just so I can get a clear grasp of how these things work and browsing at
nomorerack deals at the same time to take note of items I’d like to purchase once am done doing with my reading. There are a lot of ways and means actually on how to do such but for now, that's what my mind dictates. Am not so much fond of shopping but it is a must especially when we already a mom aside from being a homemaker. Happy New Year everyone!
Clothing are essential. It is not only for mommies/mommies-to-be but for everybody. Men. Yes, your husbands need it. Well, they also love luxury clothing you know. Luxury clothing need not be expensive but you just have to know and smart enough to get discounts and look for sale ones. For mommies/mommies-to-be and wives who have big and tall husband, you may like to check out
Big and Tall Clothing at KINGSIZE Company for his extra-sized clothing needs. Men ranging from 6'2" height and above and/or weigh 225 lbs, then KINGSIZE is his perfect fit.
My husband's height is 6'2" but he weighed 78 kilos or (78x2.2) 171.6 lbs. He does not meet with 225 lbs but meets the 6'2" height so he is in. Meaning this is his fit, the king size fit. I would like to suggest this online portal for him when he plan to buy something, an outfit and alike. Or when I plan something to give to him. KINGSIZE have also sale/clearance so if you are a big fond of sale like me, then you won't be disappointed when searching such though it is great to buy the one that you really like/want which doesn't matter if it is in clearance or not. What could be better than that. The choice is yours. Check it out and have fun journeying in shopping and such! Enjoy!
Well, I guess every mommy/mommy-to-be likes to wear fabulous formal dresses, don't you think? For me, slim or plus size women does. For some other nation (well, mostly, if not most), thin ones are an "in" thing but not here in USA. Everybody is entitled for fashion. Plus size women fit-in with fabulous
plus size formal dresses and any kind of clothing and accessories. Plus size women can play with their measurements and still looks fab and amazing just like the thin ones. I love seeing plus-size women with curves! Well, such curves can be seen depending on the style of clothing/outfit women wear. So playing with their measurement is definitely great! Thanks goodness there are many plus size clothing available everywhere or even at the tip of one's mouse.
This mommy-to-be is fond of dresses. I like dresses, shoes and purses but when I have to choose only one, the very first is like most. I guess I have this fondness because when I was young, I was not fortunate enough to have fabulous dresses even with special occasions like birthday, Christmas and other occasions alike which you think a dress is just a typical new on those times. Poor me but I accept. I did not regret because that was my fate but now that I can afford to buy some, I indulge with it even sometimes. :-) Why not! :-) What about you, do you love dresses too?
Plus size is very much different from obese. And I guess you already know that. My OB-GYN is very much particular with weight. She will tell her patients if she is already at the neck of going overweight or overweight itself. But that does not mean big women are overweight, okay? As what I know, this depends unto her height and the structure. Afar from that, I do not know where it leads or should I say I would just not say anything but plus size women need
plus size dresses to fit for their measurement. If you have the 12W-44W measurement, then I suggest you may like to check out Roamans E-Store for such and indulge the different style of clothing and other women accessories for your need (as well as your wants/luxury). Women deserves luxury as well, so worry-not if you have bucks to back-up for such to get your own. *smile*
As for me as a mommy-to-be, being a mommy does not mean being plus-size but if our body expands (to which I always hear from my mommy friends, hopefully height expands too), then that will be the time that we then need a plus size dresses. We should not worry about that, but the bucks to pay for it because all the clothes we have will be undersized and that means, new clothes and others! Otherwise, not a biggie deal because plus size clothing are just right in the corner. :-)
You already know USA has known for big plus sizes. Yes, women is included with that especially the mommies. I am not surprised at all. And it is not bad, it is just a size. We got to play with what we have. After all, there are many plus size clothing available. If you are from size of 12-32 in modern plus-size woman classic feminine apparel, then you got to check it out. There is nothing to worry about when it comes to fashion. There are many fashionable clothes for plus size woman like you just like the style of the thin folks. Isn't that great?
When it comes to plus size fashion search journey for plus size women, look no further Should I say more? You should better check it out for yourself to know more! Have fun and enjoy shopping and such!
Who among you here mommies, mommies-to-be who are fond of clothes? Well, if you are one of them, include me of your group too! :-) I am a clothes person and I shop clothes especially that I am pregnant. Well, come to think of it, I guess most women does. Yours truly, mommy-to-be love seeing people wearing comfortable clothes even if I was not pregnant yet. And I would like to continue that even having a big bump on my tummy. :-) And so another batch of maternity clothes (not a lot though) is entertaining you above or where the two going-together below. I shop this online.
I got great stuffs though that two look-alike or same style dresses (florals on the left corner) are too big for now, so I have to wait the time I have a big bump or the baby grows big. And the one colorful dress on the right corner is small for me but maybe I can use that when my body goes back to normal before I got pregnant after I deliver my baby Sam. :-) Those are good stuffs at a great price I paid.
One item that is very essential to me as a pregnant one. I bought this online and I find it great. It helps me a lot in my sleep. It does wonder, though there's still that pain (alright, it's always there). The good thing is, it helps.
And I think I can still use this as my pillow even if I would be pregnant anymore. It is a comfy pillow, not just for pregnant women. So I "hit two birds at a bang! " ;-)
Underwears, thin shirts and other inside shirts maternity accessories. I am thankful I have plenty of those. My own little (little when saved and added eventually grows) income does its wonder plus DH gave me bucks and let me get a good deal to have it. I am a savvy person so I make sure to have great deal even it takes time for me to get it happen. I hunt good deals. If I found pricey but worth, I go for it but most of the time I go for sale and alike as long as I found great ones, then go! I always believe of good though I also believe of "you get what you pay for". :-)
If you follow me along my posts, you already know I just did my shopping thing for my incoming-baby. It was an overwhelming moment, I did not know I bought much of her needs. This mommy-to-be had a list of things to buy and even put how many pieces should I have to get. I was even told not to buy a lot since she will outgrow it fast. I shop at two stores at different days, that's my excuse, ha! Why? Because if it's in one store only, I can see how many are they and can control. Waaaahh! Acceptable? Not! I know. After the major shopping, I put all the dresses together (NewBorn up to 9 months) as well as the gifts given by my precious friends excluding the 12 years clothes up to toddler (just only few of them) and I startled upon seeing of it. Maybe not much of you but for me, it is already much for her basic clothes. And yep, the costs of it too! Waaaa! The bad thing is most of it (only 5 pairs have tags left) I already took-off the tags so I can no longer return it. Bad! I can see myself kept looking at it (it's in the couch because I am preparing it to wash so I can see it always and I don't want to wash it yet because it's not yet in time. I schedule my chores you know) and just calm down myself, instead being positive about it. After all, she's my first baby and wanted to have second baby too. :-) Hoping it's still a girl but am more of a boy for the second one to make it pair. But then who knows? :-) Anyway, that's my journey of buying stuffs for my first baby as being a first-time mom. It is a tedious task! I have to imagine how many months she will be that time and her weight.
I bought two pieces of other house or pregnancy clothes. It could also be a nursing ones because it has its buttons good for breastfeeding. It's from Ralph and Lauren and the other one is, ooh sorry I forgot. But surely, its texture is pretty soft, made from cotton. This dresses serves three reasons!
First, it is for pregnancy time. Second, a house clothes. And I could still use this even if I am not pregnant anymore, nursing time. Thirdly, I can use it inside the apartment complex (with leggings) whenever I do laundry and throwing trash. Isn't that cool? *wink* ;-)
When there is maternity dresses, there is also maternity sandals, shoes and slippers to pair with the dress. To coordinate colors, is great. Even if I have already several shoes, sandals and slippers, I still like to have the soft and new ones intended for a pregnant woman. Carrying a baby-in-my-tummy is weightily. And concern folks told that it is great to have comfortable ones. And so, I shop for flip-flops online.
And those were I got. Casual Merona flip flops which are very soft in the in-soles and the Mossimo ones to go out. I find it comfortable to my feet and I love it. It serves it purpose!
This pregnant woman is not a perfect person. I guess everybody, not. Meaning, we make mistakes (just like my shopping journey of my maternity clothes) and we just have to learn from it and we are good to go. The dominating color red below was one of the maternity dresses that I like. I made a couple of looking-out unto it before I made a decision that I have to buy it. Days later, I found myself did not like it anymore. Good thing, I did not use or wash it yet. And the tag was still there.
That stripe shirt was intentionally put in there so the dominating color red dress is visible. :-) Though that black and white stripe shirt is also memorable to me. Why? That is so, because that is my first shirt bought after I knew I am pregnant and was used during a gathering of friendship in Almansor Park in the city where I live. I am confident it suits me good. :-) So the only item I return in the pic is no other than the dominating red color. That's a maxi but not that long, it's just coincide to my height. What I don't like is the garter-look above my tummy. I can sense this dress will outgrew fast on my progressive size of my tummy. No matter how I like it, my precious baby-in-my-tummy is far more important. And yep, I returned it. Was accepted without any question's ask because of all the store's tag is present.
Some of the maternity dresses I bought, was being taken once though several of them bought one batch at a time. Lazy preggo, eh? yeah, you bet! Ha ha!
Okay, I was advise to exercise daily if there's no complications. 30 minutes at least, half at a time, meaning after 15 minutes, I have to rest. Then another 15 minutes afterwards. Since a clothing store is just near in our home, I just walked then going there at the same time having my exercise. DH gave enough bucks to comfort my needs. That is for maternity dresses. And below was another batch to fulfill the becoming bigger belly of this mommy-to-be and enjoy my pregnancy journey.
I bought a couple of half-slips and brassieres with attached shirt of same color but different sizes. In that way, there's no excuse for me to say dress that up. :-)
A mommy-to-be journey needs a maternity dresses. It may not be on her first quarter but in the later months because a tummy would be big. And only dresses that is especially made for pregnant women is the best for the baby to be comfortable inside and yes, so mommy is also comfortable. Since I am pregnant, I also need maternity dresses like any other pregnant. And so below are just one of those.
The above dresses are my formal wears. Sleeveless ones are meant for a blazer which not a problem for me because aside from that below of that four maternity dresses pictured, I also have several in my closet which is great for such. Happy me that I won't be dying just to find blazers that fits me! Whew! :-)
I also has slippers and flip flops bought which I did not give a detail through posting like some others. It's not that I don't want to but I just cannot cope up with time. I also have life more than blogging. Ha! Alright, so here's this time for such (including the not-so-clean one, sorry for the pic).
(You can enlarge photos by clicking any of the images you like to enlarge should you like)
Most of those I bought during this pregnancy moment of mine. There's another more but this is just for now. :-)
This mommy-to-be of yours has several walking/jogging/sports shoes. But to this time, I have my favorite walking partner shoes and this is black (with some white, picture below) and the other is pure white colored pair which what you can see first. I like it because it is very comfortable on my feet knowing my baby bump is already big. It comforts me every time I do my walking routine. What about you, do you have your favorite comfort shoes?
