There's other class (aside from that three classes) that this mommy-to-be plan to attend for my journey to become a good first-time parent/mommy, it is The Happiest Baby on the Block Class but I just won't. Instead, I will just going to buy a Parent's DVD for it and watch it at home which cost $15 instead of a class cost $20. It's not about the payment that I won't attend the class but the comfort I will get at home. It's not that I am not comfortable in class but I just like it that way. This class/DVD will let me learn the 5 simple ways to turn on my baby's calming reflex (the 5 S's) and become the best baby calmer on the block. :-) It is to learn step-by-step on how to help my coming-baby sleep longer as ell as calm and soothe even the fussiest baby in minutes... even seconds (as it has been said) and much more. I just can't wait for it. :-)
By the way, I was not yet able to wash baby clothes because I am still waiting of my order online to complete such. I want to wash it in one time to save liquid soap. Oops! Nope, I just like to arrange it in one order. I know it would be for cold and warm cycle so it would only be two loads for washing and two loads for drying and that's it. Will then iron the need-to-be-ironed ones, for sure not all of it. :-) The folding and arranging will make it time-consuming but I love it! Then will going to prepare the small traveling bag for hospital needs both for me and my coming-baby, as well as some of daddy's need too like snacks to munch-on. :-)
I bought two pieces of other house or pregnancy clothes. It could also be a nursing ones because it has its buttons good for breastfeeding. It's from Ralph and Lauren and the other one is, ooh sorry I forgot. But surely, its texture is pretty soft, made from cotton. This dresses serves three reasons!
First, it is for pregnancy time. Second, a house clothes. And I could still use this even if I am not pregnant anymore, nursing time. Thirdly, I can use it inside the apartment complex (with leggings) whenever I do laundry and throwing trash. Isn't that cool? *wink* ;-)
This pregnant woman is not a perfect person. I guess everybody, not. Meaning, we make mistakes (just like my shopping journey of my maternity clothes) and we just have to learn from it and we are good to go. The dominating color red below was one of the maternity dresses that I like. I made a couple of looking-out unto it before I made a decision that I have to buy it. Days later, I found myself did not like it anymore. Good thing, I did not use or wash it yet. And the tag was still there.
That stripe shirt was intentionally put in there so the dominating color red dress is visible. :-) Though that black and white stripe shirt is also memorable to me. Why? That is so, because that is my first shirt bought after I knew I am pregnant and was used during a gathering of friendship in Almansor Park in the city where I live. I am confident it suits me good. :-) So the only item I return in the pic is no other than the dominating red color. That's a maxi but not that long, it's just coincide to my height. What I don't like is the garter-look above my tummy. I can sense this dress will outgrew fast on my progressive size of my tummy. No matter how I like it, my precious baby-in-my-tummy is far more important. And yep, I returned it. Was accepted without any question's ask because of all the store's tag is present.
Some of the maternity dresses I bought, was being taken once though several of them bought one batch at a time. Lazy preggo, eh? yeah, you bet! Ha ha!
Okay, I was advise to exercise daily if there's no complications. 30 minutes at least, half at a time, meaning after 15 minutes, I have to rest. Then another 15 minutes afterwards. Since a clothing store is just near in our home, I just walked then going there at the same time having my exercise. DH gave enough bucks to comfort my needs. That is for maternity dresses. And below was another batch to fulfill the becoming bigger belly of this mommy-to-be and enjoy my pregnancy journey.
I bought a couple of half-slips and brassieres with attached shirt of same color but different sizes. In that way, there's no excuse for me to say dress that up. :-)
Another red maternity dress for a mommy-to-be me. This time, it is with sleeve. I like its texture and the way how red it is. Smile. Yep, it is not that flashy and so I took it. It needs a bandeau-like underwear and I have a several of those, from black to nude and white to off-white to pair with my shoes and purse.
Above is an image to which you can enlarge should you like. Just click the image and you can then zoom it. Anyway, that sleep or house wear pair white on the left side of an image was being bought at a good deal. It is a pair and I like it. It seems for a bride-to-be pre-dress going to have a shoot with her wedding gown. Well, it could be! Image above also includes other stuffs like half-slips so my tummy won't be tracked. Hep! And several other underwear because I gain weight due to pregnancy. That new ones made my tummy happy, because it can move freely, fit-in that is.
Call it a woman's bra extension, it does not matter. It is still a brassiere extender. Smile. Which sounds good to your ear? Which is which? Either way, it is. Brassier is the full word for bra, in case you do not know. :-)
This mommy-to-be have this triple pieces of white bra extender and another one is triple pieces of different colors but with white one, the other color are nude and black but a bit short than this triple whites. Still it does serve its purpose now that am pregnant. I bought this months ago and just stashed since I don't have a place for that. I maintained my body weight. I just bought that because I like. And I did not know and either DH & I did not plan yet that time to have our baby. One month after, we then plan. Oops not because of that brassier extender huh! It just coincide. That really helps much because I don't need to buy bras to fit my body. I have many bras already so that fill-in the burden of having other ones at the same time, save my bucks. :-)
I have been meaning to post my maternity clothes bought for my mommy-to-be journal aside from my commenters request. But because of my time capsule conflict and my body hormones change, I was not able to. This is now the time before I forgot and deeply buried in thought. Just as a remembrance, you know.
Since my clothes won't fit unto my body no more, I then bought stretch shirts, skirts (or sport-skirt, I forgot the exact term, maybe you know), and some stretch pants with that first bought red maternity dress. I prefer stretch ones and a bit bigger than my body can accommodate since I know month from now, my tummy change its size. When it is stretch, it can still fit in. So that's my first maternity clothes, not only dresses but shirts and 3/4 pants and skirts. You can enlarge image by the way, should you like, by clicking the image. Thanks for your presence!
