postheadericon First Maternity Clothes Bought

I have been meaning to post my maternity clothes bought for my mommy-to-be journal aside from my commenters request. But because of my time capsule conflict and my body hormones change, I was not able to. This is now the time before I forgot and deeply buried in thought. Just as a remembrance, you know.
Since my clothes won't fit unto my body no more, I then bought stretch shirts, skirts (or sport-skirt, I forgot the exact term, maybe you know), and some stretch pants with that first bought red maternity dress. I prefer stretch ones and a bit bigger than my body can accommodate since I know month from now, my tummy change its size. When it is stretch, it can still fit in. So that's my first maternity clothes, not only dresses but shirts and 3/4 pants and skirts. You can enlarge image by the way, should you like, by clicking the image. Thanks for your presence!

postheadericon Pregnancy Craving(s)

Do you believe on the stereotype craving belief that once a pregnant woman crave of such food, it make her baby looks-like what it is? First craving is young coconut meat or juice, like for example. It has been said that her child will become fair in color even her parents are not? What do you think? What is the connection of the first craving to the newborn? Do you believe of that? If you ask me, I don't! I don't even believe in pregnancy cravings. It seems to me that it is just a sign of being spoiled. But here's an exclusion, pregnant have to be loved and husband should get what his pregnant woman likes to eat but not too much. Cravings to me is just an ordinary craving, pregnant or not, a person craves. Everyone craves not only women. Don't you think? If you do not, then you have to think it twice.

postheadericon Shopping for Maternity Clothes

My first shopping for maternity clothes was dated March 17th (of course this year, hehe! And yep, my camera's date is advance five (5) days) and that happened just lately. I guess, I am on my first week of second trimester (you do the math, beginning from the 7th of December, the first day after my last menstruation (the first day of counting of my pregnancy too as what the counting starts, from ob-gyn). Pregnancy is 40 weeks or 10 months to which each month is 28 days -> this is how it is calculated according of my ob-gyn) and I can feel many of my clothes (especially the jeans and shorts) won't fit anymore. Okay, it would fit but since when I sit it would touch the baby-on-my-tummy and I can feel it hurts a bit, then I can say it won't fit anymore speaking of pregnancy. And I thought of having some maternity clothes to which it can fit until my last trimester (hopefully the last week of it or until if am not pregnant *wink*). And DH gave me something. And so I bought it for the clothes (maternity clothes of course). Grateful to my two friends (Te Claudia and Dorie) for they accompany me of buying those. We went unto three stores at the same time strolling. They gave me priority and I so love it. Not for being prioritized, but for the beautiful character they have. They knew I need it and that's how great they are. They taught me stuffs which I never knew before and I could never be happier. We're happy together (together with my baby-in-my-tummy too, hehe!) doing such. Thanks for the time! Now I have my first maternity clothes. ;)

postheadericon Still Had Morning and Evening Sicknesses

Yep, that is how I badly have every morning and I don't like eating unless if I am surrounded with friends but if am alone eating, it's just only seldom I eat great. Speaking of morning sickness, there are few pregnant who did not experience this but as far as I know, most does have this to which I am included. That is why I seldom wake-up early in the morning, in fact, I usually wake-up at 10 or 11 a.m. or few hour(s) after the sun rises. It makes me vomit (sorry for the word if you're eating) and feel dizzy mostly so that is how I solve the puzzle. ;) Am also glad with the hard sugar free candy which solves my about-vomit moment, that is the only candy I can eat which helps me from such, or swallowing a bit of sugar. It would either help me during about-vomit or after. Then rest especially if I feel dizzy and weak. I like to stay in bed or just laze around. Well, blame it to bed rest! It is not good to be stressed you know! :-)

It's great being pregnant!

postheadericon Sample of 2nd Step of NT Result

Below are the results (paper result and the ultrasounds) of my second step of Antenatal Screening NOS (or NT Test as they called). Sorry for the black stuffs, did it to protect some privacy. If you want with my info on it, just let me know (though it is not important on this topic). You can also enlarge images through clicking on it, and then hit zoom-in or zoom+. This is just to show a sample if anyone is interested what is it like.

Last Friday (as shown on result or image above) is my 12 weeks and 3 days pregnancy as counting of 10 months all in all. The first day is my first day of my last menstruation. That is done since it cannot be determined what date really is the first day of my baby-in-my-tummy got develop into pregnancy (as being told by doctor). And you can see the result of the test on the very lower side of the paper above. There's also some info of my precious baby. :-)

Ultrasound above shows the original black and white 2D I got along with the other ones (six ultrasound pics all)
. The first one or the left side supposed to be on the right side pic as that is the repeat ultrasound (the second one or an image on the right is the first ultrasound). There was a repeat session because my baby-in-my-tummy won't woke up even how the specialist woke his/her up. So that was why I had to do a 15-minutes walk and drink a lot of water to wake the baby up. And so I did. The first pic (on the left side above) is the woke-up baby-in-my-tummy whilst the pic on the right was while he/she asleep and won't woke up. :-) And an image below is just the same as an image above, only I hit the colored button of my scanner. That is why it is colored. :-) You can (of course) enlarge images by clicking it.

Have a great day!

postheadericon Had My Second Step for NT Exam

NT is the term for Antenatal Test to which it is to identify if the baby has down syndrome. I was on my second step last Friday. And it went very well. I got an ultrasound. At first my baby is sleeping and whatever the specialist did to wake him/her up, still asleep. So I was advised to go walking for 15 minutes and drink water a lot without going to the bathroom. And I got it, went well too. It was even timing as I went up as I was being called a minute after. And there it went, the baby on my tummy already woke up. And the specialist did already what she had to do. I got more than six pictures of an ultrasound, comprises of my baby's different position (while asleep and woke-up). DH and I cannot help but to smile looking at the pics. Okay, he already saw it on the ultrasound but not me as the ultrasound monitor was located below my visible place but DH saw. It just only took minutes and I was done. Hubby asked if we could already know what gender but the specialist said not yet since he/she is still small and we will know it on the second come back which is on my 15th or 20th month for the 3rd and 4th step. I will show you next post (sorry got lazy to scan it now, :( the paper stating the findings which is very far from reality that my baby will have down syndrome and I could never be happier. Thanks God for everything. Though there's still more steps to finish but I can feel from the findings that it's far from positive. That is why, am very thankful to the ABOVE. Thanks Lord. :-) Happy me and hubby!
