postheadericon Reminiscing Sam's Baby Shower

I can still remember being one of the happiest mommy-to-be in the world because that time I thought of: "soon enough I will be having my own child and I am going to give her the world, all the things and such the world can offer. I will give her all my strength" . And though thinking of giving all my strengths to her, is not that easy but thinking about her can all be possibly do. Okay, it is too early to say that (you might think) but if you already a mother (a mother who thinks just all the goodness to her child and longing to have her), then you know what I mean. Every little thing you could think you would like to offer it to him/her. As for me, I am on that level. And that was why I really wanted to have a baby shower party of her. Her very first party. A party while she was even in my tummy. It is also to be thankful that we had her soonest and already knew what gender my child is. And yes! I had a baby shower which was being hosted by a very good friend of mine. She hosted and I coordinate with the expenses and plan. We had baby shower invitations that were given to my friends both online and offline. A lot of things we did together and along with our friends here in our place. A lot of discussions and plans presented. From food to a venue as well as the "what" and "what not". Since they understood what a baby shower is and how it is planned, I just listened to them and made some suggestions if I had something in mind. It is not that a fancy baby shower moment but it was not also a so-normal one. Baby Sam got a lot of gifts, waiting of her to came out in the real world. It was a memorable and a fluvial party! Thanks to my friends! If I could do it again, I would do it again and again. :-)

postheadericon Thanks to Mommy Mel

Days ago a co-blogger friend of mine who visited this blog of mine was having a light after-visit because according to her, she can only see "frogs" , yes, take note of the word "frogs"! Where in the world I put the frogs images on my blog. The catch was, she was not able to see posts but the frogs images. I let my other co-bloggers look at this  and some said it is fine and nothing unusual but many said (which got me worried) "yes there are  frogs images which showed instead of posts and such". Gosh, it made my brain froggy of the thought, "where did I got it" and "what did I do with my blog?" !

Good thing one co-blogger said it is something about imageshock photos storage website which I am not a member. Then I began scouring that imageshock codes and yes, when I removed the very first, they said, there were still there but not as like before. So imageshock was the culprit.

Then that time while thinking and finding that images, mommy Mel Cole came to the rescue and continue the work. Now, it is back to normal! Can you see any "froggy images" here? If there is, please let me know as what I knew those were already gone. Thanks! :-)

postheadericon On Her Jumperoo

This is baby Sam on her jumperoo (thanks to her Tita Aurelyn for giving it to her, how sweet she is). This was taken when was around her five months of age. That was last month. She likes this more by now because she know how to play the stuffs around this jumperoo. She already can sit by herself and stand (with support for the balance). I always put her shoes on before I put her in there. Just lately I found out she can likes to stand playing this toy of her. And the socks with spike-on helps. The shoes has no spikes (the area of her feet-on is plastic) so I better put the socks (yes she has several socks like those) than the shoes.

This jumperoo is a good exercise of her bones to grow stronger. Then later on for walking. Also for her mind. It's really a good start.

So, how do you like it? ;-)

postheadericon New Blog Layout

Notice my new blog layout?

One day in my Facebook moment, a lady (okay, her name starts with "Lady" too, coincidence huh *wink*) co-blogger friend of mine posted something which link-out unto her blog, seemed like it's a contest. To my curiosity I checked it out. And know what? Instead of checking out the contest I just bumped unto her blog layout. Ha! And that's the start of my journey of contacting her. I never thought she's the Mystic Geek until she replied unto my email. She's nice, respectable and cool. She said she would help me. And this is the result. The picture I sent was small that's why it's stretch when seeing here (see the personalized header?), maybe I change the picture, for sure she would help me about it since she said she would (but if not, it's still alright with me and I can understand, after all, it's free. haha!), I would like to thank in advance of it. She's lovely, isn't she? Above all, she insist of being it free since she said her service is untimely and even if I like to give her something, I don't know where I send it so it's a blessing, aint it? Smile. Yes! Thanks sis Carmel! You are awesome!

And I would find my free time to make a favicon and badge soon. For now, this is a grateful post for her. Thanks again mommy (she's an adorable mommy of two)! I consider this blog layout as a gift from you. muahhh, muahhh!

postheadericon OB-GYN / Doctor's Appointment for Later Afternoon

Am on my 34th weeks and 2nd day of my mommy-to-be journey. And another Obstetrics-Gynecologist/ Doctor's prenatal appointment later afternoon for my third trimester pregnancy. Another appointment, hoping for another ultrasound too. Last two appointments prior this time, nothing ultrasound unlike the other visits. Again, hopefully I can see my the baby-in-my-tummy tomorrow through it. I cannot wait. :-)

I currently experiencing tightening of my right slipper. You know that left food is bigger than right. Meaning this could be a sign of beri-beri which is normal for pregnancy. But I hope I won't experience it.

I said later afternoon by the way because it is already dawn time here in my end and of course it considers as already morning. This also means that I have to go to bed couple of minutes from now getting ready for later. And yep, it is fine if I have to wake-up late (hope DH would not demand of an early breakfast or else I am obliged to) because the appointment is 2:00 P.M. (the dental appointment was rescheduled to 26th of August and no biggie deal). After that, I have to go to store to buy a simple birthday gift for the daughter of my baby shower host for Sunday (too bad, I guess I cannot attend because it is not good for my situation, big tummy aside from the venue is a bit far, I just have to give something for the good friendship).

postheadericon Calgary Rental Houses

We cannot guarantee our journey to be stable. Only, we have choices and there are solutions as well for the obstacles. When talking about living, most of the times livelihood comes first (of course excluding family) especially that we cannot move without bucks nowadays. It is a must. So when livelihood/work tells that we have to go to Calgary, Canada for work, then we will. Though having a decision about it is skeptic but we must get it if we need, thinking that work is hard to find. Worry-not of place to live in because Rent Calgary is not hard to find. We can even find it at the tip of our mouse. It offers a wide selection of rented houses, apartments and even townhouses to choose from. We just have to think how many bedrooms we like, bathrooms, type, price range and even how big it is. It has a lot choices which is great even if you will be moving with your aged mom or with a pregnant wife or girlfriend. :-)

So check and find it out the rates and etcetera. Check it out and see for yourself or you might like to tell your friends or family circle the info you receive. After all, they will be the one to choose which is which and the price matters and alike. Helping a friend/family like this is already a big help. Now that you have an idea about such, it is not then a tedious work just to find a reference and such because it comes in handy. Yes, at the tip of your mouse and you can see the different choices. Good luck with the search journey and all the best!

postheadericon My Baby Shower Party is On the Way!

Yey! I can't wait any longer. Oops! Mommy-to-be is excited huh! Why not! It is time again for friends bonding most especially celebrating my baby's first occasion. Husbands of my friends will bond too! Dorie, my friend hosts this Baby Shower which will be on the 19th. Other amazing friends will also help, thanks to them in advance. For now, we're busy preparing stuffs and am busy budgeting with the suggestions of my friend, of course. I don't know a lot about baby shower so I depend on her suggestions and I'll be the one to buy the stuffs.

I really wanted to have a baby shower because I do not know if this will be the one pregnancy I am going to have. Even if I will be going to have another one again, It's really different if the first one has. Also, it is great to have laughs again with friends and some acquaintances, as I said earlier. Also, the whole roasted pig adds my excitement. Wink.

Happy baby shower for me and my baby Sarah Ann in advance. ;-)

postheadericon Fainted

It was in the last week of May, my friend Dorie, accompanied me in municipal hall to get date schedules and information, payment info and alike for a shaded concrete tables and chairs to where my baby shower will be held. We chatted over the phone the other day and that certain early in the morning to where we will meet.

Then the journey began. I have to walk the distance, it's not far. My friend did not have her breakfast yet (apparently, I already had mine), she plans to eat in Subway before heading to our meeting place. Since it is not far, I decided to head there first and then we will going together in municipal hall to inquire. And it did.

And the next thing I know while I was in municipal hall whilst talking to the information person, was, I fainted.

postheadericon Slipped in a Friend Slightly Hill Backyard

This pregnant woman was with my friends and kids in a house (in my friend Preciel's house), in the backyard particularly. Her backyard is cool and slightly hill with a big tree, that is why even if the weather is hot, it is still cool in there. You will feel cool because of its atmosphere. It is also pretty big and we like to stand-by in there in the afternoon. Now, here comes her dog, a poor dog was dead. Preciel even cried because that is a very loyal dog, not to mention of how many years that dog was with her. Being guarded and protected is such a heavy feeling of an owner when he's gone and I can feel the pain. Anyway, the couple buried it on their backyard. And one friend wants to see the buried place. Dorie thought it is located afar not knowing it was just near where we stayed. Because of curiosity, I went with Dorie and kids up then picked-up some fruits too which Preciel's kid got for us. I was happy reminiscing the province field. It looked-like we are in a province though we're just in a backyard slightly uphill with some fruit and tall grasses. Reminiscing that life was some kind of really, really fun. Then off we went down, there you go, I slipped on a cogon grass! Goodness! Because of excitement I forgot am pregnant. My behind bumped-in and eyes became big in the thought that there would be something happened, "hope not" in my thought. Dorie got startled and comforted me. She got my hands and helped me going down until I sat in a chair. She and my other two friends really got worried. But I was fine. Thanks God. Dorie even monitored me even when I was already at home. But I felt nothing and did not even went to doctor and told her. I was fine and doctor can't see any problem on my pregnancy so I just didn't told her but I have to be extra careful.

postheadericon Mommy-To-Be Birthday

Image below was taken on this mommy-to-be simple birthday celebration. A simple friends gathering wasn't plan ahead of time. That was in the 11th hour of a plan. First I was just planning of going to church and that's it but then my friends greeted me by phone and text, in Facebook too (without putting my birthday there) so I just realized I have to be with them on that day. And some of my friends came unto our rendezvous, the Golden Buffet where we love to eat out loud. Ha ha! Of course, to bond one another.
My DH came and we had a photo shot. My tummy isn't that visible because of my dress but really, it is already visible that time. Looks like am not pregnant in that dress, right? He he! Anway,  below was before we had our eating-out-loud moment. Wink. Am so glad they came even it wasn't planned ahead. I thank them of their gifts too.
Images above are just two of a kind though we had a lot of shots. A remembrance of my pregnancy journey on my birthday. :-)

postheadericon Shopping for Maternity Clothes

My first shopping for maternity clothes was dated March 17th (of course this year, hehe! And yep, my camera's date is advance five (5) days) and that happened just lately. I guess, I am on my first week of second trimester (you do the math, beginning from the 7th of December, the first day after my last menstruation (the first day of counting of my pregnancy too as what the counting starts, from ob-gyn). Pregnancy is 40 weeks or 10 months to which each month is 28 days -> this is how it is calculated according of my ob-gyn) and I can feel many of my clothes (especially the jeans and shorts) won't fit anymore. Okay, it would fit but since when I sit it would touch the baby-on-my-tummy and I can feel it hurts a bit, then I can say it won't fit anymore speaking of pregnancy. And I thought of having some maternity clothes to which it can fit until my last trimester (hopefully the last week of it or until if am not pregnant *wink*). And DH gave me something. And so I bought it for the clothes (maternity clothes of course). Grateful to my two friends (Te Claudia and Dorie) for they accompany me of buying those. We went unto three stores at the same time strolling. They gave me priority and I so love it. Not for being prioritized, but for the beautiful character they have. They knew I need it and that's how great they are. They taught me stuffs which I never knew before and I could never be happier. We're happy together (together with my baby-in-my-tummy too, hehe!) doing such. Thanks for the time! Now I have my first maternity clothes. ;)
