postheadericon Naturally-Sweet Baby Girl

My baby love daughter Sam, picture below just one of her natural gestures. Yes, that is her own act. An act of sweetness if you ask me. She does that always to me or to her daddy, without being ask, as it has been said "natural". :-) What can you say? Thanks to her momma that captures the sweet moment.

The mommy let her put in the walker fronting the TV(not so close to it), she likes it that even though she doesn't like watching the television. I think it is just one way of letting her know that there are people around her (you bet, she doesn't like being alone just like when we put her in her crib with the bumpers all over since she cannot see any people even people in the TV. Ha!). And since daddy just came she held the daughter and when put back, instead in the walker (by the way, the walker won't move in the bedroom because it is carpeted) the daddy puts her in the bed with mommy sleeping beside. Mommy was just amazed how she behaves, as in very silent watching TV which is unusual since she doesn't like TV, she watches but it is uncommon for her watch three minutes without moving, but she did lately. Mommy had pictures taken and she's in a very good mood, she smiles, laughs and all the sweetness just like above. :-) How do you like it? Ooh my sweet cutie patotie!

postheadericon Hand-Me-Downs for the new Mom

If you are like most of us, you need to save money where you can. Having a child is expensive, far more so than you may ever think. Between diapers and medical bills you are going to run out of funds for the less essential items like baby monitors and toys very quickly. This is where hand-me-downs can get really important.

You should check with relatives who have had kids and ask if they have anything that they would be willing to lend, give or sell to you. You may be surprised what you are offered. I have seen people that had entire bedroom sets in storage from their kids that had since left the house and had their own children. I have even seen some people hold onto diapers for a long time after their children have been potty trained because diapers are like gold coin to a parent. They are precious things that you hold onto well beyond when you need them.

You can encourage that gift giving attitude if you offer to help clean out that attic where they keep all the old baby stuff. A little help in this way will benefit both of you. They get their attic or garage cleaned and you may wind up with fully working baby monitors that you no longer have to buy or some other expensive items that they couldn’t part with.

Once you are done with the baby items you should either ask if the people who gave them to you want them back or pass them on.

postheadericon Her 2nd Tooth Just Erupt

I was delighted to see on her first tooth and lately I saw a little white near on it. And you bet, it is already her second tooth! Now she has teeth (as it is already two, ha!). Smile. I like to make her smile since make her imitate me on how to show her teeth, she just show her tongue. Ha ha! But she still manage to smile and give laughs despite of her erupting teeth. I can tell her gums sore. Sooner or later, the other ones also will show. I cannot wait. :-) She just like to bite stuffs or lick (whew!) which signs of teething. So I am buying and giving her teethers. She likes the pacifier though. And I am always checking it if there is a sign of wear and tear to be safe. Ah, it just a happy moment for me. Oops, "moments" I mean. :-) She's just a doll. Not I am calling her a "big girl" because she has already a two teeth, one is showing big and the other little one. :-)

postheadericon Reminiscing Sam's Baby Shower

I can still remember being one of the happiest mommy-to-be in the world because that time I thought of: "soon enough I will be having my own child and I am going to give her the world, all the things and such the world can offer. I will give her all my strength" . And though thinking of giving all my strengths to her, is not that easy but thinking about her can all be possibly do. Okay, it is too early to say that (you might think) but if you already a mother (a mother who thinks just all the goodness to her child and longing to have her), then you know what I mean. Every little thing you could think you would like to offer it to him/her. As for me, I am on that level. And that was why I really wanted to have a baby shower party of her. Her very first party. A party while she was even in my tummy. It is also to be thankful that we had her soonest and already knew what gender my child is. And yes! I had a baby shower which was being hosted by a very good friend of mine. She hosted and I coordinate with the expenses and plan. We had baby shower invitations that were given to my friends both online and offline. A lot of things we did together and along with our friends here in our place. A lot of discussions and plans presented. From food to a venue as well as the "what" and "what not". Since they understood what a baby shower is and how it is planned, I just listened to them and made some suggestions if I had something in mind. It is not that a fancy baby shower moment but it was not also a so-normal one. Baby Sam got a lot of gifts, waiting of her to came out in the real world. It was a memorable and a fluvial party! Thanks to my friends! If I could do it again, I would do it again and again. :-)
