Ha! What a word. I don't know if that is an acceptable word, the "pacifier-ing". Smile. All I know that there's a word "pacifier" and that an action or a root word can have "ing" to merge with it. So which is which? *wink*
I don't have to deal with that since this is not a grammar blog. Ha! Alright, this blog is a baby or mommy blog, or the two so I have to focus on that. :-) Why not? Back to topic. My baby love, my one and only daughter was introduced to pacifier when she was still in the hospital. Yes, the nurse(s) and nurse assistants (I forgot the term they use of the nurse assistant) introduced it to her. Good thing she embraced it. It didn't take long for them to do the work of introducing it to her. It indeed a help. And I love the idea. Until now, she use her pacifier most especially when she sleeps. It only very seldom (if she's very sleepy) she won't signal where's her pacifier. :-) Take note, I love the texture of pacifier now than the time I was still an assistant nanny to my nephew (of my first cousin). And so hooray to the makers of pacifier much more to its improvement from hard to very soft at the same time is suit to the gums and mouth of a baby. I can tell it won't hurt a baby's teeth or gums because of how it is made, that is soft and the way it is shaped.
Are you a believer of most babies does the thumb-suck thing? I don't know if most does. But for the infants who use pacifier, I believe they also does the "thumb-suck" as in sucking-in the baby's thumb and put it on her mouth. As I do believe it is an alternative of an infant if the pacifier lost or cannot pick-up from her bed or alike. A mom friend of mine is in favor of thumb-suck than giving an infant a pacifier. She has many reasons why and one of it is, it is always available and safe for the gums or teeth and costless as long you never pay for water to clean his/her hands of a certain amount. *wink*
True enough, my baby love uses her thumb in lieu of her pacifier when she cannot pick it up away from her mouth. Or she would cry if can do both. :-)
What about you, what month is your son/daughter when she rolled-over? Anyway, I hope you all the best!
Notice my new blog layout?
One day in my Facebook moment, a lady (okay, her name starts with "Lady" too, coincidence huh *wink*) co-blogger friend of mine posted something which link-out unto her blog, seemed like it's a contest. To my curiosity I checked it out. And know what? Instead of checking out the contest I just bumped unto her
blog layout. Ha! And that's the start of my journey of contacting her. I never thought she's the Mystic Geek until she replied unto my email. She's nice, respectable and cool. She said she would help me. And this is the result. The picture I sent was small that's why it's stretch when seeing here (see the personalized header?), maybe I change the picture, for sure she would help me about it since she said she would (but if not, it's still alright with me and I can understand, after all, it's free. haha!), I would like to thank in advance of it. She's lovely, isn't she? Above all, she insist of being it free since she said her service is untimely and even if I like to give her something, I don't know where I send it so it's a blessing, aint it? Smile. Yes! Thanks sis Carmel! You are awesome!
And I would find my free time to make a favicon and badge soon. For now, this is a grateful post for her. Thanks again mommy (she's an adorable mommy of two)! I consider this blog layout as a gift from you. muahhh, muahhh!
Just a minute ago, a jumperoo came out on my mind. Yes, I saw a post of my friend to her friend baby how she likes being in a jumperoo. Then I thought of my baby love. She likes to straighten her body, as in she likes to enjoy standing-up. As much as she likes to stand, but she can't yet. She has a jumpster (which was given by my baby shower host, her Tita Dorie, thanks Dor) but since we don't have a stuff to hang it on, I like to think jumperoo is good for her. Why not, right? And I search for some. I already had an idea how much is it and some other stuffs related to it, in lieu of such if I don't like grabbing that color. Ooh well. I now need bucks. Ha! Not a good thought because it needs to spend but that's what money is, to spend for a need or a little want (if you have a lot, then you can spend on your much wants. Ha! Unfortunately, our standing is on the first phrase. So it's still not bad, I think.). I like to give her what she needs. And this one is one need (or again, a little want) so let's just see what I can come up. I don't want to end up buying like her cute pink bassinet, Dr. Brown's electric sterilizer and some others that end up returning or worse, it's just in the corner after first time use. Ah! Think, think, think! Have a great Sunday everyone! :-)
