postheadericon Jumperoo

Just a minute ago, a jumperoo came out on my mind. Yes, I saw a post of my friend to her friend baby how she likes being in a jumperoo. Then I thought of my baby love. She likes to straighten her body, as in she likes to enjoy standing-up. As much as she likes to stand, but she can't yet. She has a jumpster (which was given by my baby shower host, her Tita Dorie, thanks Dor) but since we don't have a stuff to hang it on, I like to think jumperoo is good for her. Why not, right? And I search for some. I already had an idea how much is it and some other stuffs related to it, in lieu of such if I don't like grabbing that color. Ooh well. I now need bucks. Ha! Not a good thought because it needs to spend but that's what money is, to spend for a need or a little want (if you have a lot, then you can spend on your much wants. Ha! Unfortunately, our standing is on the first phrase. So it's still not bad, I think.). I like to give her what she needs. And this one is one need (or again, a little want) so let's just see what I can come up. I don't want to end up buying like her cute pink bassinet, Dr. Brown's electric sterilizer and some others that end up returning or worse, it's just in the corner after first time use. Ah! Think, think, think! Have a great Sunday everyone! :-)

postheadericon New Kindle

(Guest post written by my buddy Aldo Mays)

I was given a new Kindle for Christmas, and I absolutely love it. I was never a big reader growing up, but as I reached adulthood, I started to read more. Over the last few years I have learned to love reading. I enjoy fiction and nonfiction. I know that the Kindle is not new, but before I was given one I was not very familiar with them. They are pretty cool gadgets. They store literally thousands of books, and they sink with your Amazon.com account to download books instantly. We have our internet through clear Honolulu, and I simply get online and manage my Kindle account. The Kindle purchases books and the account automatically updates online. I have already downloaded three books that I have been meaning to read. The Kindle is so amazing because it reads just like a book. Those of you who have one know what I am talking about. The screen does not look like a computer screen but a book. I feel like I am reading a book instead of reading off of a computer screen. This is one of the coolest, most useful Christmas gifts I have ever received.

postheadericon 4th Month Immunization Appointment

My baby love, Sam, had her 4th month immunization. She had it on her legs, one on each. She cried loud. Good thing it was not a long crying time. Yep, she has a big voice now. I remember she was on her cardiologist appointment on her 4th month, she was also crying, not only because of a needle of vaccination but also because she felt cold in the room, undressed (that's the instruction). That was the first time I heard of her big voice and the first time she cried out loud. She never been like that. But that time, she did. Ooh well, instead I should pity her (but of course I pamper her), I just cannot help, but also smile a bit because of that first loud cry.

And so her 4th month immunization went fine. She got two shots both her legs. She should have more but the doctor decided to give the other next month to be gentle on her immune system since she been through a lot already. As usual, I gave her an infant pain reliever as we reached home to combat fever. And true enough she is doing fine now. Meaning, no pain or fever present. Thanks goodness.

postheadericon After Thorough Thinking

This mommy that you're with had been in a difficult situation and even haven't blog more about my one and only baby girl. After months plus, after she was born. It's time for me to get out of my shell and face the world wide web. Am ready now. Ready to face whatever circumstances would barge our way. Am stronger than before. Yes, am ready! And so, let's go! Let's go sharing how beautiful being a mom. There are trials and even modern technology can't detect during pregnancy would happen a day plus, a child was born. Inevitable, yes it is! It would hurt you. For sure, it is devastating in the part of the parents especially of a mom. Being sad is an understatement especially when family and friends (not quite, am thankful my friends sometimes visit me) aren't there on your side to assist something that you're in need of. The hands-on system of care. Ooh well, that's what life is. It sometimes taste our patience and what we are capable of. Being a mom is not easy but worth it. It makes a family or a person complete.
