My Sam is very much interested of everything I do. Very curious just like any most toddlers of her age. Sure enough, she already know how to maneuver her iPad at her own pace, at her 22 months age now. She knows what phonics and educational learning app to watch. She likes to do it herself. Sarah knows how to increase and decrease volume and turn from one app to another, then tap the play button. She can even unlock the iPad. She likes imitating that Camping Peekaboo girl shouting, "Weeeeh". And every time my Sam knows a song played, she smiles and look at me, on the other hand if it's her first time encounter, she listen attentively. She amazes me. :-) She does best in handling her iPad. She can be on it like an hour or so (of course, I won't have her the iPad all day) and even carry from our living room to bedroom, good thing we have carpet and it has a protective case and screen (in cases of accidental fell and alike). And the very best thing is she's learning. Hubby and babylove even does their bonding by playing educational game like puzzle. It's a sweet thing. It's worth it.
There is a reason television is called the ultimate babysitter. Here’s why you should not treat it that way.
With the proliferation of so many educational shows and easy access to kiddie cable channels, more and more, parents/mommy think that it is okay to let their kids watch and learn from TV viewing. The early years are vital to a child’s development, and studies have yet to prove the absolute positive effects of television on infants and toddlers. However, researches on the benefits of parent and child interactions are already proven. Thus, recommended stimulation for children under the age of two must focus more on playing, singing, talking, reading, listening to music and meaningful communication between the child and parent. But if you really cannot avoid putting your child in front of the boob tube, you desperately need to distract her for a few minutes while you finish an urgent chore, or set time limits on TV viewing.

I was given a new Kindle for Christmas, and I absolutely love it. I was never a big reader growing up, but as I reached adulthood, I started to read more. Over the last few years I have learned to love reading. I enjoy fiction and nonfiction. I know that the Kindle is not new, but before I was given one I was not very familiar with them. They are pretty cool gadgets. They store literally thousands of books, and they sink with your Amazon.com account to download books instantly. We have our internet through
clear Honolulu, and I simply get online and manage my Kindle account. The Kindle purchases books and the account automatically updates online. I have already downloaded three books that I have been meaning to read. The Kindle is so amazing because it reads just like a book. Those of you who have one know what I am talking about. The screen does not look like a computer screen but a book. I feel like I am reading a book instead of reading off of a computer screen. This is one of the coolest, most useful Christmas gifts I have ever received.

When I moved here my parents helped me buy a house so I wouldn’t have to blow so much money on rent, that was super nice of them. They even made me get a
Louisiana ADT home security system because they were worried about me being a single girl in a big house by myself but I thought that was overkill, that is, until I got broken into. Thankfully I wasn’t at home (I was at the library studying for the BAR) but when the police called to tell me my alarm had been tripped I felt totally violated. I have since gotten a roommate and that makes me feel safer and we’ve got a big old dog who also keeps me calm. I never knew
living alone would be such a hair raiser but at the end of the day I prefer this to living at my parents’ house, bar none. I like my independence and being able to come and go as I please and I’m old enough it makes sense to give up apartment living. I even saved money on my home with an
FHA loan.
Owning an iPad gadget from Apple is such awesome. How could not be if it is a gadget and you do not need to pay for it. Oops! I do not have yet any for now but I hope one day I can have. Am envious to those who have but that is life, we cannot everything. :-) If this mommy-to-be would have it, I would like to have a personalized
iPad sleeve that has my name (or an e-name/nickname with an initial surname) and favorite color on it. Am still on the journey of having one. Not yet now because it is more of a luxury for me and I cannot use it often if I have one because am on my laptop always. But then, it is still awesome to have it. Am I on the verge of dreaming journey? Nope! Just wishing. :-)
Either if you are a mommy/mommy-to-be or not, I can bet you are also wanting such, aren't you? There are vertical also
custom iPad sleeves that anyone would love to have. I cannot just stop thinking about it but I have to calm down or this baby-in-my-tummy will kick me hard. :-) Nah, you bet it she is just kicking now. It is such cool (the iPad and the baby *wink*)! God is great and am so thankful for this gift of life am carrying now. Bless this baby Oh Lord.
When I was not yet a mommy-to-be, well, single too, I used to work in a company where I have to deposit checks and at the same time get money to pay the workers. That was how many years ago. I was still young and fresh. *wink* I can remember the bank was always crowded (and even now), it has many clients. Clients here and there inside. One day when I was in my transaction journey, I was very impressed of what the bank put going into the teller area for
crowd control. It was impressive. It help people stay in lines and keep the transactions went smoothly. As I go into different establishments, I can see that crowd control stuff cannot only be seen in bank but in the gyms for concerts, political events and even in department or grocery stores, etc. That
stanchions really help. And most companies or any establishments does nowadays. The good thing is stanchions consists of retractable belts,
velvet rope and more other ways being developed. So more styles of choices coming. More so, it can even have printing done on the belts!
Talking about crowd like in national holidays celebration like having parades, street dancing and such, we always see
barricades to maintain traffic control, security and privacy. There are even fence barricades, traffic cones, pipe and drape walls and many alike just to make as people witnessing the event are safe and sound. So everybody happy!
