Being a mommy is not an easy journey. You may only know it if you already become a mommy or journeying as a mommy. I am talking here about being responsible. Once you become a mom, you can attest to through experience of how difficult it is especially if you don't have a family near to help you out with the task/s or even just to baby sit for some time (baby sitting is what I like with my close relatives kids way back when I was still near with my family. So sad I am far from them now. I can only imagine how helpful having a loving family near.
Now, that I can say I am alone (because I don't have any family circles who can help me in times if I want to have a break for myself in a random time) taking care of my precious daughter Sam. I am not complaining okay, I am just reminiscing and imagining they're here near me. Smile. :-)
My friend even ask me if I already goes to work since I said, I am adjusting my time. I meant that as being handful with my little one especially that she got out from hospital (she was there for about two months). She is still on her adjusting time and such at home. So I have to be with her always as I can. I also need to cook you know, to eat, do the house chores like cleaning the kitchen, cleaning all over and everything, washing, vacuum, and etc.
Hemmm.. a journey being a mom isn't easy but I think, very rewarding one.
I have always believed that there’s no place like home. Most especially now that I already have a family of my own. I just want a place where I can decorate and arrange the way I want and more importantly, a place where I can be a wife to my husband and a mom to my children.
It is our ultimate dream to have a house where we can raise a beautiful family and call it a home. Sometimes, it doesn’t really matter if it is the palace-like house that we used to dream, at the point when we become fed up of renting; a small house that we can call our own feels like a heaven.
Even here in the United States, not everybody can afford the luxurious way of life but it is a good thing that there are companies that offer low income housing. There's such company which helps needy individuals and families to find available low income housing units across the country in all 50 states. Their web site lists more than 50,000 available properties, and also offers FAQs concerning low income housing and other related issues.
The size of the house doesn’t really matter to me now. As long as it is full of laughter and love shared by my family, then it is for me a “home sweet home.” Ain't it a happy family journey? :-)
This Sam of mine is always on-the-go of making sounds at eleven months. Okay, not all the time, I am just pointing-out the time that she's of just herself. Well, not mostly, she also does it it even at the crowded voices of my husband and I and even with the sounds of an electronic. Whenever she feels like babbling, she does all the way. Ha! I like hearing those babbles and such. Even the shouting, I love it! It just shows that she is learning how to talk.
Aside from making sounds, she is also into imitating of what I am doing. Like playing with her, she is doing what I am doing and laugh after such. Yes, she loves playing. I can only wish of 24/7 being beside her (without eating, cleaning myself, cleaning the house, etc) to play all the way. Ha!
She can even follow what I like her to do. Okay, not yet of doing chores, alright? Wink. ;-) Just like doing peek-a-boo, passing things from her hand to my hand, doing snort like a pig, beautiful eyes, give-me-five, and many more stuffs she likes and laugh at the end of an activity. I find it cute, if not, then I do not know what you are thinking. Ha! Smile. :-)
Being the first teacher of my child, I also need to be creative knowing that training in schools these days have dramatically transformed into a more rigorous one. So, as much as possible I have to make extra efforts to prepare my daughter for formal schooling. I am just glad that free educational printables are available in the net these days one of which is
scholastic printables.
Scholastic Printables provides access to over 15,000 teaching worksheets and printable resources for students from Pre-K to 8th grade. Their Printable Worksheets offer a wide range of topics to cover all subjects and themes throughout the school year, while supplying everything everyone’s need to teach an integrated curriculum. Their printables can be used for in class curriculums, home schooling, or enhancing and complementing children's education before and after school.
With this, being a mom teacher is no longer that burdensome.
