postheadericon A Brief Guide to Oriental Style Cooking

(This is a guest post)

If you are looking for new ideas in the kitchen, try some new Asian recipes. Asian cooking has recently become very popular due to its health benefits and delicious flavors. Asian cuisine incorporates a variety of simple techniques, many of which do not involve a lot of added fats or oils. Chinese dishes often utilize the stir fry method, while seafood-heavy Japanese cuisine sometimes uses appliances like fish roasters. Stir-fried dishes can also be found in Thai cuisine. Most Asian dishes are accompanied by bowls of healthy, fat-free rice.

The stir style fry technique can be used with a wok or a sauté pan. Turn your heat source on high, add a little bit of canola oil and toss in some uniformly cut vegetables and pieces of meat or poultry. Season well with salt, pepper and soy sauce. Serve with a bowl of rice. This simple dish is found in many Chinese restaurants. As for stir versus deep fry, there is no question which one is healthier; stir fry is definitely superior. Only the surface of the food comes into contact with the fat, while deep frying submerges the entire piece of food. To make a perfect Japanese-style whole fish, you should first gut, clean and salt it. Then, simply roast your bird. Turkey roasters are wonderful appliances to have, but they might be too big for a single trout or mackerel. With its heady flavors and dearth of fat, Asian cuisine makes for a delicious dinner. Try out these suggestions and wow your guests with your cosmopolitan palate.

postheadericon How to Handle Bad Temper

As a parent, you will be called upon constantly to adapt to new situations. I have learned that parenting requires reflection and self-awareness on your (or parents') part. That process begins as soon as you become a parent. Many of us don’t take time to examine our backgrounds to figure out what will be useful and what might be harmful to our children. I am a new mom, and admittedly, there were times that I don’t know what to do with my child when bad temper struck at her. Of course, as a mom, I need to find out what makes her mad. Fortunately, most of the time, the struggle to calm her down were settled well and easily. How do I do it? Thanks to my e-5 smartphone, she likes to press and press the small buttons on it. But, it must have to be locked, in that way though, even if the phone is lock, she can still manage to turn on the flash light feature of it, zooming the time, back-light on and stuffs. The most important thing, we, moms has to listen to our child of what she likes to have and not. Of course, we also has to say "NO" if its not good.

postheadericon 1st Birthday Party Theme

Every mom has their own experience on the first birthday of their child. Some have good memories, and unfortunately; some have not. But most moms as much as they could, wanted to have a memorable birthday celebration on the first birthday of their child most especially if it is their first one. Usually, it is the mother who has lots of ideas on making the 1st birthday party as the most joyful birthday celebration of their child.

Typically, if it is a child’s birthday, we usually have a theme. You can then find several beautiful and very eye-catching 1st birthday party decorations and supplies, great Disney Princesses designs and themes that are perfectly planned. Also one of the must-have is some kind of designed for boys like Sesame Street and Elmo desig and many more.

One of the stuffs that moms at look out is the prices, if it is reasonable enough. For most moms, 1st birthday is the most important event of a child’s life. Thus, if you have a child now that will celebrate his or her 1st birthday so soon, then look for the best place to shop for party theme, decorations and supplies. Good luck! :)

postheadericon Toilet Training And Its Influence To Children

Time will come that your kids will no longer wear diapers and need to learn how to use the toilet or the potty every time he or she wants to pee or poo. Toilet training is one of the most important skills that a parent should teach their children.

It isn’t just about hygiene but according to Erik Erikson’s Psychosocial Development, toilet training is one of the ways to learn autonomy, control and knowing what is right and wrong. Through toilet training, a child learns to hold pee and poo until he or she reaches the potty or the toilet because it is the right thing to do.

Toilet training can be taught through role modeling with the help of the parents. If the child sees his or her parents using the toilet every time they pee or poo, most likely they will do the same. Do not also forget to reward your children every time they do it properly.

How I wish to experience this very soon, but then I have to wait on the proper time. Good luck to all you first-time moms (like me).  :-))
