postheadericon Finally MJBM Has a Favicon and Badge!

I had been meaning to myself of getting an scheduled time for me to make a badge and a favicon of this blog of mine. It has been put off several times since I only have limited time in the computer. And now finally I made it, yes, I made it! Ha! I cannot be more proud of myself of getting it done. Smile. I like to had it the soonest but it's fine, I am not complaining though. And so I have to forget the past since it is already done, up and running now. It is not as  easy-peasy but not that hard too. It is worth the effort because I can now see the end result. Blogging, happy mommy me! :-)

postheadericon First Tooth

My lovely precious daughter Sam is fond of biting for quite how many days or weeks already before I can see her teeth came out. Actually her dad saw it first when it was little and told me, I just ignore since I can see it when it is already big anyway. In that way, the visibility thing is fronting my very own eyes then. True enough! As I told you earlier, she loves biting. Good thing she is still drinking her milk and even eating her food in a box, named rice and mixed fruit, though I did not give her yesterday since she has a pretty hard poop the last night. She poop twice. Then I give her milk and water often as long as likes drinking, as in I introduce it to her when she's resting from playing, or just anything she's having, like 30 minutes interval. And guess what? She poop the usual thing yesterday. Thanks to her daddy too for suggesting to let her rest of the food (or in my mind if I give her, I will put more milk on it, and so I opted the former and it worked, well, it should work either way since the goal is I have to give her more liquid).

Seeing her first tooth in her lower part of her gum is happiness. I am telling her that she's already old since she has already a tooth. Ha! what a great feeling!

postheadericon How to Make a Berry Cheesecake from Home

One of the best summer treat for friends and family is a fresh berry topped cheesecake. It is not only a delectable treat for everyone, but also a beautiful show stopper. Everyone who will see it will surely awe over the beautiful dessert. The good thing about this dessert is that you can make it from your very own kitchen.
We will make a recipe that can make 24 servings. The finished product will be a 9 x 13 inches rectangle cake. This size can serve the entire family or will make a little piece each night of the week for dessert.
For the crust
2 Cups Wafer crumbs
6 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 cup refined sugar
For the filling
1 cup granulated sugar
1 package (3.4 oz) JELL-O Lemon flavored instant pudding

4 8oz packages cream cheese
4 eggs
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons fresh lemon zest
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
For the topping
1 package whipped topping
1 cup each blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, sliced strawberries 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
You need to preheat oven to 325 degree Fahrenheit. Meanwhile, line a 13 x 9 inch pan with foil. Make sure that the ends of foil extended over the sides of the pan.
In a medium bowl, combine the wafer crumbs, butter and sugar. Pour the crust mixture into the prepared pan. Press the bottom of the pan firmly, and bake for 10 minutes.
Mix the cream cheese and sugar in a blender or mixer and blend well until smooth. You can add sour cream and mix well. Once mixed, add the lemon zest, lemon pudding mix and lemon juice. Blend them well until thoroughly combined. You can start adding the eggs, one at a time. You need to adjust the blender to slow speed while adding the eggs. Once smooth, pour this mixture over the crust.
Bake the mixture for approximately one hour or until the center is almost done. Let it cools fully before putting it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
Transfer the cheesecake to a tray and add and mix thoroughly the vanilla extract to the whipped topping. You need to spread the topping over the cake. Finally, decorate it with fresh fruits.

postheadericon Today is Her Special Day!

Yes, today is my daughter Sam's special day. A monthly celebration. Can you guess why? Well, never mind. I just want to leave the answer to my own. Sorry. I was just thinking that if you are guessing, I then have the obligation to tell you what is it. Ha! If you insist, you can leave me a comment. Ha ha!

I don't know the feeling way back but the most important one was I was very much happy. Now that I have her, I would do everything I can to make her comfortable and feel great. She is an angel, a live angel. A very precious little one. I am lucky I have her.

In lieu of it, I would like to God, the foremost, and everyone involved. For the great knowledge, ability and everything in between.
