I know that being a mom is a 24/7 job and we always have to be on our toes making sure every bit of our baby’s needs is well taken care of. I know, too, that during the first few months into motherhood we might have thrown most of our old life out the window and make our entire world revolve around this little bundle of joy that we’ve recently welcomed into our lives. It was the most wonderful experience, but also the most demanding one. Think of numerous diaper changes and endless waking up at nights especially to the newborns to feed our baby. Although we do it with too much love, sometimes the hard work can also take its toll on us and what’s the best thing for us to do is to take a break!
Yes, it does not mean you will leave your child unattended while you to do the spa to have a much-needed foot treatment and massage or leave your baby all to himself while you and dad go out to have dinner and watch a movie together. There is just no way you can do that, right? The trick is to find someone you will trust your life with, say a best friend or your mom or your sister, to leave your little one, so you will be sure to take the much-needed break without the glitch.
The second paragraph is luxurious for me and I doubt I can have that this time, or I don't know when can I have that. Well, GOD is good. I just have to trust HIM. I know HE won't leave me behind.
June 29th was my 29th week. Oops, that's also a St. Peter Day. But then I did not think about commemorating such, after all, it isn't a big deal here in USA unlike in the Philippines, my birth country especially if you leave close-up to bodies of water. Ah, 29th week on the 29th of June. Hehe! Memorable huh! Now that it's July 3rd, so it is already 29 weeks and 3 days. Time flies-by so fast but then am excited. I want to see her already but then I have to wait. And also I still have a lot to do the following days. I am not ready yet to go to the hospital in case she will go out anytime during on the 7th month (ooh Lord, please not *knock on woods*). I still have to prepare her clothes, buying and washing down to arranging. Some more stuffs still has to prepare. Her bed and others. Good luck to me! Even my clothes going to hospital and back to home was not prepared yet. I have faith in Lord to guide me. Please pray for me too. Everything's under control but prayer and Lord's guide is the best of them all. Help me God. Am all yours.
May 8th was a feast of Saint Michael, the Archangel. It is in Mahinog, Camiguin, the place where my paternal clan live and rooted, Mahinog Camiguin. September is the real month of but folks celebrated the feast and pigging-out in May though prayer is still made on the particular date in the month of September. The May feast celebration also the time that I commemorate the death date of my beloved Uncle, the brother of my father. I sent some amount for his 10 years to add for the clan gathering and prayer. And at the same time I add for an offering for Saint Michael, the Archangel feast for thank you from my family and a prayer for my pregnancy and delivery soon, hoping he will guide me through.
Other place where I grew-up in Magting, I also sent something for an offering for the same cause. Now am also asking you to pray for me. Thanks in advance and God bless of your big heart! ~hugs&kisses~
