postheadericon Dealing With Teething Troubles

As part of the development milestone, babies would really undergo the painful stage of teething. It is a phenomenon where discomfort is very common causing night troubles and sleeplessness. Though some parents are blessed with babies who will just grow teeth like nothing happens, painless teething happens one in a million cases.

Remember that teething is not an illness and therefore it should not be giving babies any problems aside from discomfort in the swollen gum area. Diarrhea and vomiting are two different things abd should be managed differently.

When teething occurs, you may apply some teething gels to numb the gums for few minutes. To avoid introducing any substance by mouth, you may use cold clean cloth. Teethers or teething rings can be used as well or simply let your finger be bitten. Just make sure that your finger is clean and well disinfected. Cold solid foods like chilled banana can also be served.

postheadericon Managing Anxieties Of First Time Moms

The moment a lady finds out that she is pregnant, there would be mixed emotions depending on the situation she is at. If it is out of wedlock, then fear most likely be felt on the first few days. It would be fear of being cursed by her parents; fear of rejection and fear of not being able to survive the challenge. However, even those who are married but first time to bear a child, fear is also present. This time it would be fear of getting out of shape, fear of not being able to take care of the baby carefully, fear of pain for the upcoming delivery and alike. These fears and anxieties can be managed by frequent reading and learning all the things related to their pregnancy. Knowing the possible things to happen could alleviate anxiety. Support from the immediate family is also one of the toughest strengths that a first-time-soon-to-be-mommy needs.

Mother knows best so they say but in some cases, maybe not. There are times that we just don’t know what to do especially when the health of the kids is at stake. We can’t just follow always our instincts as to what medicine should we give unless we are doctors. It is a good thing hubby choose and has found Blue Shield of California. Blue Shild of California is a non-profit organization that provide easy access to great doctors and offer a wide range of affordable health plans. They also offer easy access to alternative care, like chiropractors and acupuncture.

In Blue Shield, you will meet this dynamic duo Dr. Jim and his sidekick Bob to which they you can find them in: Dr. Jim and Bob's Fun & Helpful Health Advice. Believe me, they are a lovable pair for health advice. What they do is scan the web for people who have questions about their health, when they spot one, they will create a video to answer those queries in an entertaining way. With that, you won’t only get significant information from them, you will also laugh.

In fact, I often have this hiccup and for sure you will agree with me that it is just awkward and very uncomfortable when you are around your friends. Thankfully, I found a remedy in Dr. Jim and Bob’s Fun and Health Advice by simply following this short video.

You too can benefit from their valuable pieces of advice so why don’t you meet Dr. Jim and Bob

postheadericon Today with My SAM

Bathing my baby is fun to do, but I need to be careful too especially now that she wanted to grab everything in the tub. She likes to play in the water, and sometimes she doesn't like to get out from the tub, but I have to find a way that she wouldn't cry as soon as I pick her up from the tub. My little princess is still wearing a diaper, and to prevent diaper rashes, I make sure that Sarah is always clean and dry.

Honestly, I am wishing that Sarah would stop wearing diaper, so I could spend the budget for diapers to other things like baby’s accessories and probably toys. Ha-ha! I have so many plans for my daughter, especially for her future, but for now, I just want to give her a happy life with me and to her dad. Anyway, she had her bathe earlier, and after giving her milk and tossed as well as turning for a couple of minutes, I was so glad she eventually fell asleep. :)
