You guess it right, I have it. I never thought I would have it since I am always (well, not that always) putting up a cocoa butter as my friends told to which it was proven and tested on them. But not to me. Yes, I have an awful stretch marks on my belly. My ob-gyne even saw it awful but nothing we can do. On the other hand, I view it as a sign of being a mom and loving it! Am still putting up cocoa butter though. My friends and husband advise me not to stop putting up cocoa butter (my ob-gyne gave me some ointment to put in times of itchiness too) and I do it.
For now, am just loving the itchiness of the stretches which eventually forms of what is called "stretch marks" since I cannot do something about it. No, it's not great having stretch marks but I am embracing it completely instead of complaining.
What about you mommy/mommy-to-be? How do/did you deal with the stretch mark/s?
There's other class (aside from that three classes) that this mommy-to-be plan to attend for my journey to become a good first-time parent/mommy, it is The Happiest Baby on the Block Class but I just won't. Instead, I will just going to buy a Parent's DVD for it and watch it at home which cost $15 instead of a class cost $20. It's not about the payment that I won't attend the class but the comfort I will get at home. It's not that I am not comfortable in class but I just like it that way. This class/DVD will let me learn the 5 simple ways to turn on my baby's calming reflex (the 5 S's) and become the best baby calmer on the block. :-) It is to learn step-by-step on how to help my coming-baby sleep longer as ell as calm and soothe even the fussiest baby in minutes... even seconds (as it has been said) and much more. I just can't wait for it. :-)
By the way, I was not yet able to wash baby clothes because I am still waiting of my order online to complete such. I want to wash it in one time to save liquid soap. Oops! Nope, I just like to arrange it in one order. I know it would be for cold and warm cycle so it would only be two loads for washing and two loads for drying and that's it. Will then iron the need-to-be-ironed ones, for sure not all of it. :-) The folding and arranging will make it time-consuming but I love it! Then will going to prepare the small traveling bag for hospital needs both for me and my coming-baby, as well as some of daddy's need too like snacks to munch-on. :-)
One of the cheapest form of advertisement yet effective way of attracting the audience would be through flyers. This is perfect for companies in a tight ad budget with a guarantee of good return. If you have the skills, you can even create your own flyers giving you the control over your flyers design and saving you a lot of money. You can even make it more effective than the usual by offering a discount to people who will bring in the flyer to you. This is also a form of tracking down how effective your flyer is. If you opt to design your own flyer, then the next thing that you need is to look for brochure printing services. There maybe a lot of them available in your area and some of them may even offer 24 hour turnaround printing service saving time you spend on processing your advertisement. There are different forms of advertisements. And perhaps you are thinking of the best and inexpensive possible form of advertisement. I believe that you don’t want to spend millions or even thousands on your business journey just for the advertisement alone.
Amidst the business competition in the business world, creative marketing ideas are great way to improve market sales. It is a great tool in attracting possible clients or customers. And apart from that creative idea, the next important tool that will help you increase your marketability is through advertisement. They should go together since your creative idea will not be effective if you just keep it inside the walls of your establishment.
Don’t spend a lot of money on advertisements. It is time to say goodbye to expensive ads. There are many cheap yet effective way of advertising and through handing-out flyers, is one of them.
One more day from now, and it will be August month already. Time flies, huh! During August month, this mommy-to-be is fully packed of schedule of my journey of my trimester pregnancy up to being a mommy-at-hand. Such schedule I said is all about being mommy-to-be, not as a homemaker. Why? It is because I have to attend classes of three: the (1) Childbirth Classes. As it has been said on the brochure:
This four-class course focuses on discomforts in the third trimester, signs of labor, breathing & relaxation techniques, stages of labor, possible laboring positions, medical procedures and options, caesarean birth, the postpartum mother's experience, and much more.
This class is a session of two and a half hours {2.5 hrs} every Wednesdays beginning this Wednesday approaching {August 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th}. The other class that I have to attend is the (2) Baby Care Class which is good for a day of two and a half hours {2.5 hrs} which will be on the 3rd week of August by Thursday (August 18th). According to the brochure:
This class provides information to prepare parents for the care of their newborn. Topics discusses include feeding, bathing, swaddling, diapering and tips for comforting a "fussy" baby and much more.
The other one class that I have to attend is the (3) Breastfeeding Class - Off To A Good Start! I plan to breastfeed my coming-baby and I think this class is best for me as a first time momma. Sure it is a common sense what a breastfeeding is but I want to know the latest this and that. I want to ensure that I know how, the precautions and etcetera. This class by the way is good only for a day of two and a half hours (2.5) which I have to attend the week after the last day of Childbirth Classes {Thursday, August 25th}. According to the brochure:
This class offers information on breastfeeding including techniques and positioning, correct latch-on, skin-to-skin benefits, common myths, special circumstances, importance of dad's support, pumping & storing (of breast milk), returning to work, weaning and much more.
This is good for a day of two and a half hours too just like the others, for a day.
The three classes (Baby Care, Breastfeeding and Childbirth) will cost me $65 for a package because I will be delivering at the hospital where the classes held. Others who will attend that won't deliver on that said hospital will pay $85, so it's an advantage because I have a discount. :-)
Now, am I not that busy on August month? What a schedule! Hemmmm.... but on September my schedule is a zero one (it's a must on the list) for baby's coming. :-)
