postheadericon Mom Needs Care Too

It is not possible to care for your baby or your partner if you feel neglected, overstressed and overtired. The most important person in your baby’s life is you. Figuring out how to meet your baby’s needs take time, energy and love, but you also have to get your share of nurturing. For me, the hardest part of being a first-time mom was when I needed to wake up in the middle of the night for feedings. I am so glad that I have passed that stage.

I understand that a full night’s sleep is next to impossible during the first months of my baby’s life, which is why; I rest whenever I can. I tried to nap or relax when my baby naps. I make sure that I am eating well-balanced, nutritious foods to maintain my energy. I have healthy snacks of fruits, juices, nuts, cheese, and yogurt. After childbirth, getting my body back into shape is also impossible. It probably takes a few more months to lose that extra weight.

postheadericon Who Wants To Know The Future?

Chinese people, if not all, but most of them rely on Feng Shui. Feng Shui literally means “wind and water,” the elements that sustain life. Regardless of their school, geomancers invariably assert that feng shui is an exact study of the laws and process of nature. It is rooted in the belief that everything that exists has an energy field that can be harnessed to man’s advantage.

On the other hand, the non-Chinese's people, specifically Filipinos, some of us believe on psychic reading. Some of them, before they could decide whatever plans they have, they first consult it to a person who claimed that they could foresee the future. However, there are also people who are curious about the people who have six senses. They wanted to try their credibility if they could really read or foresee their future.

The usual things that they wanted to know in the future are money, career, love life, their lucky numbers, their compatible partner in life, the suitable business for you, and more. I have not tried to go to a psychic reader, so I am not sure whether the psychic reader will also tell the bad luck that coming on your way.

Anyhow, for me, the only person who could tell and knows our future is the one sitting above. If you trust HIM, then you are in the right way. Trials will always come to our lives, and it is us and no one else will work for it, so we can overcome these trials, and prayers are the best weapon to conquer all the trials in life.

postheadericon Keeping Your Child’s Development Offline

It is normal for today’s mom to be proud of whatever development their children are having. That’s why pictures of firsts like first-step, first-grip, and first-immunization-day photos can fill up their social networking accounts. There’s nothing bad about it but some parents would rather choose to keep their children’s profile offline for some very important reasons.

These parents decided to keep it because they don’t want to place their children’s information for possible cyber-bullying acts. It believed that what has been posted online can never be kept private even with the presence of privacy options. These parents would want to involve their children with this kind of activity online but would then let them decide when the right time comes.

When these children will know how to operate gadgets or with parental guidance would finally know how to have their online accounts but not social networking because basically it is not allowed when a child is below 18 years old as per Facebook Rules and Guidelines (by the way Facebook is the leading social networking site nowadays), when they're already 18, then that’s the time that could decide to share their photos online.
