postheadericon The End of Walgreens’ and Express Scripts’ Partnership

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

All good things must come to an end, and this is exactly what happened between Walgreens and Express Script. Walgreens wanted new provisions in their contract with Express Scripts like steady
rates, discounts for military men and women, and 90-day refills at the pharmacy. However, Express
Scripts wasn’t willing to negotiate these new terms. So now, Express Scripts members would have to
look for other alternatives, and this is unfortunate because Walgreens, with its many branches, is easily
accessible, operates 24/7, and even has drive-thru pharmacies.

Even TriCare members, mostly military men and women, were affected with this partnership failure.
TriCare is a health and prescription drug program for men and women in the military that allows them
to avail of prescription drugs at much lower rates. Nevertheless, Walgreens is negotiating something so
that this service won’t face any disruptions.

At the same time, Walgreens is encouraging people to try the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club.
This program would benefit everyone, Express Scripts member or not. The annual membership for this
club is $20 for individuals and $35 for families. However, for the whole month of January, individuals can
join for just $5 and families may do so for $10. Those who will join this club are automatically entitled to
enjoy on more than 8,000 generic and non-generic medications.

If you want to find out more about this program, be sure to like Walgreens on Facebook and follow the
updates of Walgreens on Twitter.

postheadericon Hair Loss

Who said only adults experience hair loss?

Not you, maybe. Actually most newborns experience hair loss as I read it somewhere and to my experience of seeing infants. And am not surprise my baby love would experience the same. Yes, her hair is losing (she's not totally bald, it's the area where she use to sleep it in, on her back sides). Even if I know newborns losses their hairs, I still ask her pediatrician (which I talk two days ago) if it's normal for her and she said yes. One thing also I ask if anything we (her parents) can do about it. She said, we just have to wait since her hair will regrow. And that made me feel relieve. :-) I can't wait the time she could have her long hair. But for now, I'll just enjoy it. :-)

What about you, is your newborn also loses her/his hairs?

postheadericon Happy New and Prosperous Year 2012!

I know, it already passed the countdown for the welcome of year 2012. Yeah, right, it is already year twenty-twelve. Let's welcome it with positive vibes and goodbye and bad thoughts along with negative happenings in the previous year (or rather years *wink*). Life is precious! Let's journey it with smile and strong convection of what life is really is. Never be afraid and ignore the negative vibes. So let's hand in hand the positive attitude and view life as giving and sharing, mutual interest, that is. What could be better than that? Perhaps that also what's on your mind now. Great! There are now many aims and does the start, let's begin (or rather continue the good ways)! Happy New and Prosperous New Year mommies, mommies-to-be, daddies and all!

postheadericon Online Shopping in the New Year

There are couple of reasons why one like to start online shopping as soon as the New Year celebration frenzy died down, including: (1) buying new stuffs for the little one, (2) buying new stuff for the house to welcome the New Year and (3) some cash to spare to fund this worthwhile activity.

Buying online can be quite a risky venture if you do not know the ins and outs of how this alternative way of shopping goes about. For starters, I am doing a bit of reading on nomorerack reviews online just so I can get a clear grasp of how these things work and browsing at nomorerack deals at the same time to take note of items I’d like to purchase once am done doing with my reading. There are a lot of ways and means actually on how to do such but for now, that's what my mind dictates. Am not so much fond of shopping but it is a must especially when we already a mom aside from being a homemaker. Happy New Year everyone!
