postheadericon American Girl "Saige" Doll Giveaway!

Here is another giveaway below mommy(ies)! This time it is American Doll named "Saige" as it has been said this doll is 2013 Girl of the Year! You may have to enter this giveaway below.

I first hear about American Doll from my Aunt M then later on from a co-blogger friend Mommy R. An aunt of mine has three lovely daughters and sure enough love American dolls. Whilst Mommy R has a her one and only cutie pretty little Princess who has couple of such and more coming. Yep, you're right, that's the story why I was enticed or wanted to have a doll like this for my one and only child, my daughter Sam (in the pic above, she was 15 months of this pic, now she's 2 years old and a month sometime next week). It would be awesome for her to have such. If you have a baby girl or daughter, who would not want such?

postheadericon No Two Individuals Are Alike

Do you ever wish that your child be a perfect child just like you? I mean in the behavioral aspect? Some (or maybe most) parents are like that, which is not a bad thing. They encourage the kids to be like the things they used to like when they were kids. They teach kids ways or hobbies that they used to when they were still young. And if the child can show a behavior that is not like them, they scold the child. Parents like this forgot that the child is a combination of two genes – the mom and the dad. The mom did not realized that her kid is just half of her. So the kid can never be a replica of what she is. Maybe in looks, they can be so much alike but in ways, they can never be. Even twins, they can never be alike in all things but of course they love each other so much.

I love parents who love their kids in spite of their differences especially when kids make goals in life. I admire parents who encourage their kids to pursue whatever their kids wish to be when they grow up. I can just imagine what some adults feel when they are living a life that is a choice of their parents which they can't take. Of course, I wish everyone the best!

I am one mommy that loves my child to explore things and around. When I had my baby shower, one friend of mine gave a gift of leggings and I could not get any happier. Sure enough, my daughter uses it often. But now that she's grown up, she also need to have grown-up leggings. And I think most mommies love leggings for their child especially that cold days is already here. Yes, even in the Eastern part of United States of A it already is snowing! Happy cold days, then? Enjoy and smile! Love, love, love.

postheadericon Back Into Shape After Childbirth

Getting your body back into shape is important. But remember, it usually takes a few months to lose that extra weight mommy(ies). Allow time for your body to recover, especially if you have stitches. For the first two weeks exercise should be light, increasing gradually to moderate activity to help your recovery. Daily exercise, even a ten-minute walk, will help tone your body and increase your strength and energy. Getting outdoors with your baby in her carriage will also clear your head, decrease stress and help you sleep better.

Begin with gentle pelvic exercise as soon as possible, then move on to moderate exercise of the abdominal muscles when you’re feeling up to it. Wait at least six weeks before doing any strenuous aerobic activity. As your body feels stronger, increase your exercise to low impact aerobics, such as walking, swimming or cycling. But make sure that you are eating well-balanced, nutritious foods to maintain your energy.
